Overview
Easy WebP is a completely offline macOS application. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your images. All conversion happens locally on your Mac using native system frameworks.
Data We Collect
None. We do not collect personal data, usage analytics, telemetry, or any other information through the app. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking pixels.
Network Access
Easy WebP does not require an internet connection and does not upload your files anywhere. The app is fully sandboxed and only has access to files you explicitly drag and drop or select.
Any network access is limited to:
- Opening external links you explicitly click
Crash Reports
If you have enabled macOS system crash reporting, Apple may collect diagnostic data according to your system preferences. We do not receive any crash reports unless you choose to send them via email.
Third-Party Services
Easy WebP uses the open-source libwebp library by Google for WebP encoding. This library runs entirely on your device and does not communicate with any external servers.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect any data, there's nothing to delete, export, or correct. Your privacy is protected by design, not just by policy.
